Description

I was looking for some less imaged objects and noticed a faint hydrogen patch near M39 / NGC7092. After about 40hrs of exposures, an interesting nebula came into view. With some help from Mark McCaughrean at ESA, he was able to identify it as SH@-124 "Almost Nothing Nebula". It looks very similar to NGC6188 the Dragons of Ara in the Southern Hemisphere. Maybe I will call this the Dragons of Cygnus Nebula

Here is a cropped view of the core. This is the part that looks like Dragons of Ara to me.

Also some really neat features in this field of view, including an Oiii emission nebula and some planetary nebulas that would be fun to revisit with my Newtonian.     Picture1.png
